Our Process

It’s the Journey that Counts

Here is Arc Line Fiji’s step-by-step production process:

1. In-depth client consultation
2. Selection of wood logs
3. Transportation to the nearest sawmill for the first stage of processing (rough sawn)
4. Once done, this consignment is delivered to another facility for further processing such as sanding or eliminating of blade marks for a smoother presentation, etc.
5. Wood slab gradings and specifications are then marked accordingly on individual pieces.
6. These pieces are then air dried
7. Next, a spraying of Antiblu, a chemical to help prevent molding and insects from eating into the sap of the wood, is applied.
8. Finally, they are loaded into containers for export
